North Bengal Development minister Goutam Dev said, "Transferring departments is a long process and the government must be given adequate time for it."

GJM thinktank Dr H B Chetry today expressed unhappiness about the number of departments transferred to the Gorkha Territorial Administration in the Darjeeling hills and the cases pending against party cadre.
