'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' goes on floors

The film tells the story of a boy, who sneaks his father's fancy new car out to impress a girl in college and how hell breaks loose when he loses it.

"MDKM" stars Saqib Saleem, who made his debut in last year' film "Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge".

The film will also mark the directorial debut of Ashima Chibber, who earlier worked as Shimit Amin's first assistant director on "Ab Tak Chappan" and "Chak De! India". Her last project as an assistant was Imtiaz Ali's "Rockstar".

The music for the film has been composed by Sachin Gupta.
