12 killed, 14 injured in two road mishaps in Sabarkantha

"Eight people died as the tempo in which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite side near Pruthvipura village on Megharaj-Malpur road in the afternoon," they said.

Ten persons injured in the incident have been rushed to civil hospital in Ahmedabad, officials said.

In the second mishap, four people were killed and as many injured when a car overturned near Anandpura Kampa village on the Modasa-Malapur road. While three of them died on the spot, one died on way to hospital, they said.
