2 killed, 6 injured in road mishaps

While one of those killed was a youth whose motorcycle was hit by a speeding bus, the other was a elderly person who died when an RTV overtured.

The first accident occurred early in the morning near Bhagwandas School in Welcome area when the young man was riding his motorcycle to office.

The man, identified as Mukesh Kumar, died on the spot when the speeding DTC bus hit him from behind, police said.

The bus driver was arrested and the bus was impounded by the police.

In the second incident, a 65-year-old man was killed and six others were injured when an RTV turned turtle near Maujpur Chowk in east Delhi.

Among the injured were three women, police said.
