Two youths were today arrested on charge of preparing forged ration cards on the spot near Hazaribagh Collectorate.

Police arrested Md Salman and Juneid Alam of Mandai locality under Hazaribag Sadar police station area on Friday in this regard, police said.

The District Supply Officer, Bhogendra Thakur said the duo were preparing the ration cards on the spot on laptop.

The duo knew the password of the government website, police said adding they had procured the website fraudulently.

Police seized the laptop and four mobile phones and a case has been registered against them under relevant sections of Cyber Crime Act.
