Twenty activists of AISF, CPI's
student wing, were arrested today when they attempted to stage a rail roko at the railway station here, police said.
The activists were protesting against the Centre for "neglecting" the state's farmers, who are agitating for the last one month in New Delhi, to press their charter of demands including waiver of loans.
They also raised slogans against the proposed hydrocarbon project at Neduvasal in Pudukkottai in the state.
