4-yr-old boy injured in attack by stray dogs in West UP

A minor boy was seriously injured when he was attacked by a pack of stray dogs at Jhinjhana town in Shamli district, days after two people died and five others were injured in similar incidents in West UP.

Sufiyan (4) was attacked by some stray dogs near his home in the area. He was rescued by some locals and admitted to a hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.

On Friday last, a six-year-old boy, who was playing outside his house, was attacked by stray dogs who mauled him to death, the police had said.

The next day, a youth was mauled to death by some stray dogs in Bijnore district's Nehtaur town, while five school children were injured in another attack by stray canines in the Dhabheri village of Shamli district.
