6 juveniles arrested for stealing bikes

Police today claimed to have busted a gang of juvenile bike-lifters after apprehending six boys from West and recovering 13 stolen two-wheelers from them.

The West District Police recently nabbed two juveniles with a stolen Scooty from near Tagore Garden Metro station, said Vijay Kumar, DCP (West).



Three other juveniles were also detained on their instance.

Finally, the police managed to catch the mastermind of the gang.

A total of 13 two-wheelers stolen from different areas in West were recovered from them.

During questioning, they told police said they used abandon the stolen bikes after using them for some days.
