A Study India Programme organised for PIOs in Malaysia

The first Study India Programme (SIP), tentatively to be held from Sept 25 to Oct 23 this year, is open to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) aged between 18 and 26, said a statement issued by the Indian High Commission here.

It said those selected will have to undergo a short-term course of three weeks at a selected institution in India, and undergo a week's field visit organised by the institute.

Eight per cent of Malaysia's 28 million people are ethnic Indians.
