Accused of abetting ex-girlfriend's suicide, man surrenders in

A 26-year-old man, accused of abetment to suicide of his former girlfriend, surrendered before a here today.

The accused, Ved Prakash, was booked after a 21-year-old BCom student allegedly committed suicide in north Delhi's Roop Nagar area last week.


The woman left behind a suicide note in which she alleged that Prakash was responsible for driving her to take the extreme step.

She had alleged in the note that Prakash had built physical relations with her on the pretext of getting married and had later moved to and started avoiding her.
