Adele trademarks her name

The 'Rolling in the Deep' singer, 24, is said to not want people to cash in on her fame and sell items which are genuinely not endorsed by the star using her moniker, reported Sun online.

"She doesn't want anyone exploiting her name by using it on products which may trick punters into thinking she's involved with it," said a source.

Having a trademark would enable Adele to take legal action against anyone that tries to sell products in her name which are not approved by her.
