On the occasion of the 800th Urs of Sufi Saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti, Dewan Syed Zainul Abdein Ali Khan issued his message in the presence of religious heads of other dargarhs.

"Girls today are competing with boys in all spheres of life. The murder of a girl child before she is born is not only legally but also religiously wrong," he said.

Khan in his message also called upon the people, especially the Muslim community, to impart education to children.

"I appeal to the people, especially Muslims, to extend education to their children to enable them to compete not only in India but all over the world," he said.

The religious head of Ajmer dargah today called upon the people to act against female foeticide and impart education to children to ensure their success.
