Apna Punjab Party (APP) convenor Sucha Singh Chhotepur today said his party's organisational structure would be announced soon and is based on a democratic set-up with special emphasis on the requirements and aspirations of the common man.
Maintaining that both Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its convenor Arvind Kejriwal would soon see their "political end" because of their "arrogance", he accused the former of "selling" AAP and the interests of the aam aadmi (common man) in the hands of rich persons and committing a "historical cheating" with the common man across the country.
Chhotepur had recently floated APP after he was suspended from the Aam Aadmi Party on charges of corruption.
He said his party was in touch with other 'like-minded political parties and persons' for an alliance for the forthcoming polls in the state.
Chhotepur was hinting about his ongoing talks with BSP, Awaaz e Punjab's Simrajeet Singh Bains and Balwinder Bains and hockeyplayer-turned-politician Pargat Singh, who recently quit SAD.
He called upon the "dejected volunteers of AAP", who are feeling "suffocated" because of the "highly unprincipled stand" taken by the party leadership in giving tickets to the "new rich joinees", to join his outfit for the betterment of Punjab.
Chhotepur lambasted SAD-BJP alliance for its alleged "non-governance and corruption" during the past ten years, and Congress for its "failure" to prove an effective Opposition during this period.
