A decision to this effect was taken after taking into considerations the recommendation of a committee constituted on June 22, 2015 and recommendation of the Advisory Board constituted on July 12, 2017.
In addition to the fixed minimum wages, the workers/ employees shall be entitled to Variable Dearness Allowance.
Moreover, the workers/ employees are entitled to a day of rest in every week as per existing provision under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948, the release added.
