Bandh affects normal life in Dima Hasao district

The bandh, which began at 5 p.M, kept off vehicles from the roads, while markets, banks and educational institutions remained closed, official sources said.

There was, however, no report of any untoward incident reported from any part of the distict.

HSDP called the bandh demanding a separate state.
