Base metals firm up on industrial demand

The industrial metal rose at the LME on Greek debt deal, adding confidence over metal demand and recent positive data from top consumer China.

Tin shot-up by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,350 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,340.

Brass sheet cutting climbed by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 331 from Rs 328 and brass utensils scrap went up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 321 from Rs 319.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar all inched up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 488, Rs 478, Rs 444 and Rs 516, respectively.

However, copper sheet cutting softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 464.
