BCCI condoles death of former treasurer Jyoti Bajpai

Veteran cricket administrator Bajpai, who served as treasurer and joint secretary, has passed away.

He was the joint secretary of the Board from 1997 to 2003 and was the honorary treasurer from 2003 to 2005.



The Board of Control for Cricket in (BCCI) while condoling his death said, "Bajpai played an immense role in the development of the sport in in his roles as the Honorary Secretary and Director of the Cricket Association (UPCA) for many years.

Bajpai was also appointed Manager of the Indian cricket team for the 2003 World Cup.
