Bihar weather remained dry; Gaya records highest 38.5 degrees

The weather in remained dry for the past 24 hours with Gaya becoming the hottest place in the state where the mercury rose to 38.5 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above normal.

Patna, the state capital, recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 33.2 degrees Celsius. Bhagalpur recorded the maximum temperature of 36.7 degrees Celsius and Purnea 35.0 degrees Celsius, the office here said.

and Bhagalpur registered one degree below their normal maximum temperature while Purnea witnessed no departure from its normal maximum temperature.
