Addressing an election rally here in Unakoti district in support of BJP candidates for the February 18 Tripura Assembly election, Hussain urged the people to vote for the saffron party as our main motto is development of all.
"BJP attaches maximum importance on good governance and development of the people irrespective of caste, creed, religion and gender. Our main motto is development of all. So, I would request you to cast your vote in favour of our party for overall development", the BJP national spokesman said.
He alleged that the ruling CPI-M is a party which does well for themselves and not of the common people and that was the reason people should change them in the elections.
"When someone show the red flag towards a running train it stops. CPI-M, which holds the red flag, is a party which stops development. We need a party which would develop Tripura", he said in the rally.
He said under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana scheme 10 crore women who are under BPL category in the country would get free LPG connections and the days of cooking by firewood, coal or cowdung cakes would be thing of the past.
Hussain said the Narendra Modi government at Centre has taken initiatives to double the income of the farmers by 2022.
If the government of the same party remain in the Centre and the state then development would take place in faster pace, he claimed.
