In a Facebook post, Bharti had held Khan responsible for 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots and had opposed his visit to the district tomorrow.
"A case has been registered against city board member Parmod Kumar under section 505 of IPC and section 66 of the IT Act," said SSP Bablu Kumar.
