Three persons have been arrested in connection with the killing of BJP leader Shiv Kumar and his security guard last month, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) said today. Additional Superintendent of Police (STF) Rajeev Narain Mishra said a team arrested sharpshooter Naresh Tevatia from the Khairpur crossing after an encounter today. During interrogation, Tevatia revealed the location of two others -- Arun Yadav, Dharam Duttand and they were subsequently arrested. BJP leader Shiv Kumar and his security guard were shot dead in the Bisrakh area on November 16 when they were going to Ghaziabad in a car. Yadav alleged Kumar had killed his father when he was 17.
He said he killed the BJP leader to avenge the killing of his father, according to police.
