BJP leads panchayat samiti chairman/vice chairman posts tally

bagged the second position, winning 66 posts of chairman and 65 post of vice chairman, while won 54 posts of chairman and 48 post of vice chairman.

won 49 post of chairman and 53 post of vice chairman. Various Aghadis (local fronts) bagged 18 posts of chairman and 20 posts of vice chairman and independents got elected to 3 posts of chairman and 4 posts of vice chairman.

Out of 2989 seats spread across 283 samitis, BJP had won 831 seats, won 591, 674 and 581 seats, during the elections held last month.
