BJP slams CPI-M in Kerala

national leadership today mounted a strong attack on Kerala's ruling CPI-M, saying when the Left party is in power Sangh Parivar activists are at the receiving end and the matter will be discussed at the National Council being held here.

"The BJP, and several other Parivar organisations have endured terror of the Marxist party. When they are in power, the violence increases and when they are not in power violence continues," party General Secretary Ram Madhav said.

Talking to reporters here, he claimed there were over 400 incidents of violence since the CPI(M) came to power in the southern state in May this year.

Taking a serious view of the violence against its cadre, he said the National Council will take stock of the situation in the state.

He indicated that this will also form part of the resolution to be adopted at the end of the council meeting.

Ram Madhav said "in Kerala, in the last Assembly elections, we have registered a significant growth...We have few local parties working with in the state, we will try and rise as a forceful opposition to LDF in Kerala," he said.
