BJP workers shout pro-Modi slogans ahead of Rahul's visit

A group of workers shouted slogans in Modi's support as Gandhi was due to arrive to meet textiles traders to hear their grievances related to the Goods and Services (GST).


Police briefly detained three persons and let them go after the meeting got over.

"Some persons tried to disturb the meeting by shouting slogans when was visiting NEM. We detained three persons and let them go after the meeting got over," Surat police commissioner Satish Sharma said.
