C'garh Assembly adjourned after tributes to departed leaders

Tributes were also paid to Former Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and former RSS chief K S Sudarshan.

Soon after the House assembled on the opening day of the Winter Session, Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik mentioned the names of the leaders, who died since the last session.

Kaushik also mentioned the names of former Lok Sabha MP Tarachand Sahu, former MLA Ganesh Shankar Bajpayi, Rakesh Kumar Singh, Chetram Sahu and expressed paid rich tribute to all of them.

Chief Minister Raman Singh recalled the services of all these people in various fields and said that their contribution can never be forgotten.

The Leader of Opposition in Assembly, Ravindra Choubey also spoke about the work done by all of these leaders.

After observing a two-minute silence in their memory, the House was adjourned till Wednesday.
