Cabinet informed about India, Bangladesh cyber security pact

"The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Modi, has been apprised of the Memorandum of Understanding between and on cyber security cooperation," an official statement said.


The agreement was signed on April 8 between Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and Computer Incident Response Team (BGD e-Gov CIRT).

Both the agencies will promote exchange of information on cyber attacks and security incidents, technology cooperation, exchange security policies and best practices and human resource development.

"The MoU between CERT-In and BGD e-Gov CIRT would be implemented through a duly set up Joint Committee on Cyber Security," the statement said.
