Capdase exploring local production; eyes $60 mn biz in 3 yrs

Hong Kong-based mobile accessories maker Capdase is exploring the option of setting up a manufacturing unit in as it expects a of USD 60 million in next three years.

"We will now expand our product portfolio to cover Android smartphones in India. At present we sell through around 1500 retailers and generate annual business of USD 2.4 million. With YMS our reach will increase multifold," Chan said.

YMS Mobitech, a company with electronic distribution platform, distributes Xiaomi and Leeco products.

"We have now entered into exclusive partnership with Capdase. We currently reach out to around 11,000 retailers across 383 cities. This will increase reach of Capdase products by over 7 times. YMS Mobitech will provide door step service to customers for Capdase products," YMS Mobitech Co-founder Ajay Laddha said.
