Centre shifts Railway Minister's PS to DoPT

An IAS officer, who was appointed as Private Secretary to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu five months ago, was today shifted to the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

Ashish Madhaorao More, belonging to Union Territories cadre, was put on 'compulsory wait' by the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister Modi. However, hours later, he was appointed as Deputy Secretary in the DoPT.
