Changes needed in light metro projects: KER CM

Chief Minister today said changes in the plans of the proposed light metro projects here and were necessary to suit the new Metro policy of the Centre.

A committee headed by has been constituted to examine the additional documents submitted by (DMRC), which was roped in to execute the projects, he said replying to a submission in the assembly.

Kochi Metro was implemented by DMRC.

The project details of the Thiruvanathapuram and light metros would be sent to the Centre after the committee examines it and approval by the state government, he said.
