According to Pahadishareef police station Sub-inspector S Chandra Reddy, the woman SI filed a complaint, accusing Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Inspector Ashok Kumar of "passing comments and harassing" her, following which a case under relevant sections of the was registered.
