DM Aparna Upadhyay asked all returning officers to ensure use of only two vehicles by candidates contesting for mayoral position, and only one by those contesting for various corporate wards.

Voters were also advised not to carry mobile phones to the polling booths.

Civic polls: Admn for minimum use of vehicles by candidates

The administration today issued directives for minimal use of vehicles by candidates during the urban local body polls in the district tomorrow.

DM Aparna Upadhyay asked all returning officers to ensure use of only two vehicles by candidates contesting for mayoral position, and only one by those contesting for various corporate wards.
