Cold wave conditions continued unabated in Uttarakhand with several places in the state recording sub-zero temperatures, the MeT department said today.
Mukteshwar was the coldest at minus 1.7 degrees Celsius followed by New Tehri at minus 0.3 degrees Celsius and Pantnagar at 0.8 degrees Celsius, it said.
Dehradun recorded a low of 2.9 degrees Celsius for the second time this season, the last being on January 11.
Dehradun's temperature at 2.9 degrees Celsius is three degrees below normal for this time of the year, MeT officials said.
The MeT department forecast ground frost is likely to occur at a few places and the dry weather is likely to continue.
It has predicted fresh spell of snowfall tomorrow in places located above 2,000 metres.
Light to moderate rains may also lash lower areas including Dehradun where the sky will be generally cloudy, the MeT said.
