Congress to corner Goa govt during monsoon session

The opposition is gearing up to corner the in on host of issues during the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly beginning tomorrow.

"There are series of issues that can be raised on the floor of the House. There is enough to corner the state We will highlight each of their failures," Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar told PTI today.

The Legislature Party today held a meeting to chart out its strategy.

Kavlekar said "all the democratic and legislative methods would be used to expose the state which is made up of unholy alliance."

"The issue of desecration of religious places, failure to shift the off shore casinos, uncontrolled narcotic trade, would be raised on the floor of the House," he said.

The session will culminate on August 7.
