Expressing concern over delay in the construction of memorial for Pathankot terror attack martyr Garud Commando Gursewak Singh, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij today asked officials to start the work at earliest.
He directed the district administration to start the construction of the memorial in the martyr's native village Garnala at the earliest.
Any negligence in this matter would not be tolerated, Vij said while asking the officer concerned to visit the residence of the martyr and contact his parents regarding the memorial.
Indian Air Force Commando Singh was martyred in Pathankot airbase terror attack in January this year in which seven security personnel were killed.
The state government had announced to construct a memorial in his memory in his native village but no initiative was made by the administration in last nine months.
