Contraband seized

Acting on a tip off, police intercepted a man and seized one kg ganja and eight costly watches worth Rs 50 lakhs from his possession near Chaturbhujsthan in Muzaffarpur district,

Police also recovered 3.5 kg charas, worth Rs 35 lakh, after two smugglers left those before escaping seeing the policemen at Bhediharwa in West Champara district.

The smugglers were suspected to have come from Nepal.
