CP Joshi may challenge Ruchir Modi in RCA elections

Former Cricket Association president and union minister in CP Joshi's name is doing rounds as a likely challenger to Ruchir Modi during association's slated April 26.

There are rumours that Joshi has been approached by a number of district associations among the 33 that will elect their head.

The 21-year-old Ruchir is now the president of the Alwar District Cricket Association and perceived by many as former czar Lalit Modi's way of controlling the association through his son.

However Joshi will only fight elections if he is sanguine about his numbers in the next 3-4 days.
