CSE index decline 47 pts

The benchmark index (CSE-40) went down 47.85 points during the trading session. The local bourse was lower by 9.51 points.

The index opened at 6055.92 and during the trading session slipped to close at 6008.07.

Total trading volume was Rs 21.64 crore from 19 scrips.

Among major scrips, Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.50. Infosys Technologies gained to Rs 2522.30 at close.

State Bank of India was up at Rs 2184.95 and Reliance Industries was up to Rs 727.70 to end the day.

Tata Steel rose to Rs 412.95.
