CSE index falls 49.37 points

The CSE-40 index closed at 6375.44 points after opening at 6424.81 points.

Infosys Technologies lost 20 paise after opening at Rs 2324.10.

Reliance Industries lost Rs 2.10 and closed at Rs 768.

State Bank of India lost Rs 7.05 after opening at Rs 2074.

Tata Steel lost 60 paise and closed at Rs 364.50.
