Delhi Lt Governor offers Chadar at Ajmer

The 'Chadar' will be carried to the shrine by members of State Urs Committee to the Dargah.

"I pray that our national capital and the country prospers with the blessings of almighty and peace and harmony reign," he said on the occasion.

Khanna also appealed to the pilgrims to offer prayers for unity and brotherhood during the annual Urs at Ajmer.

He appreciated the role of Urs Committee in making excellent arrangements in the city for the Urs devotees in transit.

The Urs is observed to mark the death anniversary of saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.

Delhi Lt Governor offers Chadar at Ajmer

Delhi Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna today sent a traditional 'Chadar' to be offered at the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer on the occasion of 800th annual 'Urs'

The 'Chadar' will be carried to the shrine by members of State Urs Committee to the Dargah.
