Elixir is like a second skin: Shakira on new perfume

The 'Hips Don't Lie' hitmaker is releasing her third perfume and said it was important for the scent to express one's sensuous side, reported Femalefirst.

"After my first two fragrances, I wanted to do something different - I wanted to push the idea even further and develop a fragrance that would express my most sensual and exotic side, and Elixir is the result of that. We worked on the concept of a 'second skin,' a fragrance that becomes a part of you," she said.

The scent, which was created by perfumers Alexandra Kosinski and Sonia Constant of Givaudan in collaboration with Puig perfumer Elisabeth Vidal, has top notes of neroli, white pepper and white flower.
