Encounter in south Kashmir

Police, army and CRPF personnel launched a joint operation on an information about presence of militants in Kujjan village in the district, 75 km from here, a police spokesman said.

He said the exchange of fire was on till late evening but there was no immediate report of any casualty from either side.
