Fox will air the episode titled "The Dating Game" this Sunday, as well as a full tribute that will be shown before the episode airs in the US.
Some of West's "Family Guy" co-stars have already paid tribute to their beloved mayor, with Seth Green - who plays Chris - calling him "a true hero".
The show's creator and star Seth MacFarlane also remembered West fondly, calling him "irreplaceable".
