Farmer attempts suicide near Telangana CM's Camp Office

A farmer allegedly attempted suicide by consuming a poisonous substance near Chief Minister's Camp Office here today, police said.

The farmer, identified only as Mallesh, a native of Jogulamba Gadwal district, reached the Camp Office at around 10.30 am and swallowed a poisonous substance, they said.



He was apparently disturbed over financial problems, the police said.

He started vomiting which was noticed by police personnel posted there. They shifted the agriculturist to a hospital, where his health condition was stated to be stable, Punjagutta Police Station Inspector S Ravinder said.
