GCWL announces graduation of women from its training programme

The Genpact Centre for Women's Leadership (GCWL) today said 18 women from five companies graduated from its seven month training program for mothers returning to the workplace.

GCWL, a partnership between Haryana-based Ashoka University and services provider Genpact, works to empower women through research programs aimed at promoting leadership and gender diversity, among others.

The program titled 'Breakthrough' is designed to retain talented women post-motherhood to build leaders who can contribute substantially to their organisation.

Treebo Hotels ties up with Travelport

* Budget hospitality chain Treebo Hotels today said it has tied up with global travel commerce platform Travelport to make its properties available to latter's corporate customers.

As a part of the partnership, Treebo Hotel's properties would be available through Travelport's global travel distribution systems Travelport Galileo and Travelport WorldSpan, Treebo said in a statement.

Treebo Hotels Co-Founder Sidharth Gupta said: "Travelport's global, sophisticated technology-driven distribution system will help Treebo tap into its international and domestic travellers.

Ujaas Energy gets 1,768 kwp solar rooftop order from WBPDCL * Ujaas Energy today said that it has got an order for 1,768 kwp solar rooftop from West Bengal Power Development Corporation (WBPDCL), which would be installed at its different buildings and plants.

"Ujaas has received letter of award of contract for 1,768 kwp from WBPDCL for 'Design & Engineering, Manufacture/ Procurement, Testing, Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar PV Power Plants' at different buildings of Plants and Township of WBPDCL," Ujaas Energy Ltd said in a BSE filing today.

Columbia Asia Hospitals appoints new CEO, COO

* Columbia Asia Hospitals today announced the appointment of Nandakumar Jairam as the CEO and Jasdeep Singh as the new COO.

Jairam has been associated with Columbia Asia Hospitals for over 12 years and has served the organisation as the Chairman and Group Medical Director, Columbia Asia Hospitals said in a statement.

Singh has worked with brands including Fortis Healthcare and has joined Columbia from his position as the CEO at Milann-The Fertility Centre.

myHQ ties up with OYO to expand horizon of co-working space * myHQ, a venture creating a chain of work-friendly spaces in Delhi-NCR, has tied up with hotel network OYO to expand the horizon of co-working spaces in the city.

With this collaboration, a myHQ co-working zone has been set up in two OYO Townhouse properties in Delhi NCR, myHQ said in a statement.

Townhouse is a self-managed hotel brand recently launched by OYO to cater to premium mid-market segment and attract neighbourhood millennial professionals.
