Hardline Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani today denounced the civilian killings by suspected militants saying there was no justification for such incidents. Expressing deep concern over mysterious killings in district Pulwama, Geelani said "there is no justification for these killings.
It is unfair and against humanity to kill a person for his specific ideology or affiliations". Geelani, while denouncing these killings, said secret killings will lead to chaos. "Teachings of Islam assign extra ordinary worth for human life and saving a human being is like saving of the whole humanity," he said. Geelani said stopped short of blaming anyone for these killings saying "nothing can be stated with authenticity about these incidents and it is still a mystery to divulge about those involved in these secretive killings".
