Black pepper, copra office Alapuzha, copper office Kozhikode, copra Rajapur Mumbai and copra edible Mumbai all ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.

Ginger bleached and unbleached both climbed by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 120 and Rs 133 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 115 and Rs 128, respectively.

The following are today's closing rates in rupees with previous rates in brackets:
