Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today said having a uniform Goods and Services Tax all over the country is an experiment and one has to wait to see the results.
"GST is an experiment. Many countries have brought in the GST. Due to some problems at the implementation level, some countries have withdrawn it. We have to wait and see what will be the result. There are divergent opinions on the GST slab system. There are several requests made to the Centre. We have to wait and see how the Centre reacts," he said.
Former Editor in Chief of The Hindu and chairman of Kasturi and Sons Ltd N Ram today called on Rao and presented him a copy of his book "Why Scams are here to Stay".
Rao yesterday said he will continue his struggle till the Centre slashes GST on ongoing projects of public importance being implemented by the state government.
