Gur ends quiet in Delhi, raskat declines

Press Trust of India  |  New Delhi

Gur prices after moving in a tight range on limited buying activity, settled unchanged at the wholesale market in the national capital today.

On the other hand, prices of gur raskat in Muzaffarnagar plunged by Rs 150 per quintal due to slackness in demand from beer makers amid increased supply.

Marketmen said persistent arrivals from manufacturing belts against reduced demand from beer makers, pulled down prices of gur raskat in Muzaffarnagar.

In Muzaffarnagar, gur raskat prices dropped by Rs 150 to finish at Rs 2,850-2,900 per quintal.
