Scanning facilities for patients would be offered at a discounted rate of 60 per cent as Hindlabs would make functional its MRI and CT scan units at Sree Avittom Thirunal (SAT) Hospital,R P Khandelwal, chairman and managing director, HLL, said. The new Hindlabs centre with an investment of Rs 11.30 crore is equipped with 1.5 Tesla MRI scan machines and CT scan, with 128 slices, would provide essential diagnostic services to patients of Medical College Hospital, SAT, Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) and other outpatients.
