Imposters arrested

after one of them sought appointment from Raj Bhavan to meet Governor Syed Ahmed, posing as personal secretary to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
Senior Superintendent of Police S S Singh identified the trio as Sayed Kuhani (Gurgaon), Pradip Mishra (Delhi) and Manoj Kumar (Patna), adding an FIR was registered.
During the interrogation, the SSP said Kuhani had confessed that he contacted the Raj Bhavan posing as Rahul Gandhi's private secretary, Kanisk Singh, to seek an appointment with the governor.
The accused said they wanted to utilise Raj Bhavan influence for recommendation to get some coal racks from Bermo-Kargali in Bokaro district and some other areas, he said.
After getting the call, the officials at the Raj Bhavan checked and came to know that they were being tricked by some imposters. The officials called them to Raj Bhavan, interrogated them and then handed them over to the police.
Two mobile phones and a car were seized from their possession, the police said adding they had checked in a hotel in the state capital.
